May Newsletter
two months to go!
May is looking busy for 3A! We are hard at work finishing our stories, learning math concepts and getting ready for more responsibility and expectations in grade 4.
Dress for the weather!
Despite the snowy start to May, we will be playing a variety of sports and games outside during the last two months of school. In order to ensure the safety of all students, I require all students to have a pair of running shoes for outside gym class. This can be a pair of shoes that are left in their lockers or that are worn each day to school. Students who come to school in sandals, flats or other footwear that is not safe for gym class will wear their inside shoes. Students without any appropriate footwear will not be allowed to participate in our activities.
I also suggest sending a bottle of sun screen with your child. Students spend up to 1.5 hours in the sun each day and should be dressed and sun screened appropriately.
